DESCRIPTION:Join us for a fun\, low-pressure group ride at Meads Quarry! AMBC’s Social Ride is a great way to connect with other mountain bikers and get comfortable on the trails. Everyone is welcome!! \nMeet at 5:30 at just between the parking lot and Meads Quarry\, and ride at 6:00! Rides are usually around 1.5 hours and average 5-7 miles. No drop; no one gets left behind! Complete our 2026 waiver before you ride. \nPlease note: We will not ride if it is raining or if the trails are wet — check the trail conditions here. We may pivot to a greenway ride\, so keep an eye on our Instagram and Facebook for day-of updates. \nSocial Ride is every 1st Tuesday at Meads Quarry and every 3rd Tuesday at Baker Creek from spring through fall\, unless otherwise noted. We’d love to see you on the trails! \n*Parking at Ijams (including the Meads Quarry lots) requires an Ijams membership with a parking pass or a one-time parking pass of $5/day that can be purchased in the parking lot.

We’ll meet up at The Drop Inn\, and we’ll be doing some maintenance on the Year Round Get Down trails. Lunch will be provided by The Drop Inn\, and Creature Comforts will be hooking us up with cold beverages. \nAfter lunch\, you’ll have the option to join us for a ride on the new trails — so bring your bikes + helmets!! \nAs usual\, AMBC will provide the tools — just come prepared to work with sturdy shoes\, gloves\, safety glasses\, and water. Families with kids are welcome. If you haven’t already\, please sign AMBC’s 2026 Waiver before the event. \nThank you to our sponsors and volunteers! \nWork Parties are the best opportunity for AMBC friends and trail users of all kinds to volunteer on the trails. We hold regular Work Parties on the first Saturday morning of most months. Join us anytime! \n9 am: Work Party at Marie MyersVolunteer with us on the trails at Marie Myers!
