SUMMARY:Dirty Dozen Hill Climb Challenge
DESCRIPTION:The infamous Dirty Dozen race\, created in Pittsburgh\, is returning to Knoxville! Find the Facebook event here.\n– $100 cash prize for first place– Beer\, merch\, and gift card prizes for 2nd\, 3rd\, and anyone who completes all 12 hills.-$10 entry fee-Early Registration is encouraged. Please register here.\n\nThis is an incredibly unique race because it combines a casual group ride with a grueling race. We will start meet Crafty (Emory Place) at 9am and start the ride at 10am sharp at a casual no drop pace. Periodically\, we will cross paths with a one of the many noteworthy hills in Knoxville an announcement will be made that points are on the line. When we reach the bottom of the climb the race is on!\nMake it to the top first to receive 10pts\, 2nd = 9pts\, 3rd = 8pts\, and so on… The riders will regroup at the top of each hill and the casual ride to the next will continue. There will be an amp-you-up music bike\, a cheering section on one particular hill\, and lots of trash talk in between each challenge.\nAt the end of the day the points will be tallied and a champion will be crowned!Strava will make things much easier for judging and is recommended but not required.Join us for a one-of-a-kind race as we continue this new tradition in Knoxville!

DESCRIPTION:Cranksgiving is a national event put on locally by Two Bikes that combines two things you probably love: riding bikes with friends and supporting our community! \nPart scavenger hunt\, part food drive\, Cranksgiving is a team bike ride that sends folks around Knoxville to various grocery stores to collect food items\, all to benefit our local food bank\, Second Harvest Food Bank of East Tennessee.  \nEach team will be given a list of grocery stores and food items to purchase\, each worth a certain number of points. The team with the highest score and the quickest time wins! \nThe event starts and ends at Schulz Bräu in North Knoxville. Registration for Cranksgiving opens at 1PM and the ride begins at 2PM\, so be sure to show up early to plan the best route! RSVP for Cranksgiving now!

SUMMARY:Annual Big South Fork "Mail Run"
DESCRIPTION:Every New Year’s Day the Big South Fork National River & Recreation Area and the Big South Fork Bike Club invite all mountain bikers to ride the annual Big South Fork “Mail Run” event. Bikers meet at Bandy Creek Visitor Center at 10:00 AM (ET)\, January 1\, and then hit the trails. The ride is traditionally called the Mail Run because the event occurs each year no matter what the weather has in store. \nThe Mail Run consists of a choice of rides varying anywhere from 8-35 miles so bikers can pick the group ride of a length they are most comfortable with. Hot chocolate and coffee will be available at Bandy Creek Visitor Center before the rides starts. Find the event page and contact here.

DESCRIPTION:Join Keep Knoxville Beautiful at the South Knoxville Community Cleanup (SKCC) 2026. On Saturday\, April 18th from 9am to 12pm\, dozens of volunteers will be picking up litter throughout South Knoxville. \nAt the SKCC 2025\, 310 volunteers picked up over 7\,800 lbs of litter in just 3 hours! This event is a great way to participate in a larger effort to keep Knoxville clean\, green\, and beautiful! \nMeet at Chapman Square at 4409 Chapman Hwy. We will be removing litter from South Knoxville roads\, creeks\, and parks. Participants of any age are welcome! We look forward to seeing those who live\, work\, or play in South Knoxville – as well as anyone who wants to lend a helping hand. DESCRIPTION:Join us for a fun\, low-pressure group ride at Baker Creek! AMBC’s Social Ride is a great way to connect with other mountain bikers and get comfortable on the trails. Everyone is welcome!! \nMeet at 5:30 at Baker Creek Pavilion (1530 Taylor Rd) and ride at 6:00! Rides are usually around 1.5 hours and average 5-7 miles. No drop; no one gets left behind! Complete our 2026 waiver before you ride. \nPlease note: We will not ride if it is raining or if the trails are wet — check the trail conditions here. We may pivot to a greenway ride\, so keep an eye on our Instagram and Facebook for day-of updates. \nSocial Ride is every 1st Tuesday at Meads Quarry and every 3rd Tuesday at Baker Creek from spring through fall\, unless otherwise noted. We’d love to see you on the trails!

DESCRIPTION:Knox Bike Racing‘s Wednesday Night MTB Race Series features 10 cross-country mountain bike races held across multiple trail systems in the Knoxville\, TN area. Race categories start a few minutes apart\, and scoring is handled through Webscorer\, providing live results and individual lap times. This series is not USAC-sanctioned\, so no racing license is required. \nFind race details\, cost\, and other info here. Keep an eye on their website for schedule changes and rain dates. Be sure to sign up in advance for a discounted race fee. \nRACE TIMES: All categories must be staged at the start line by 6:10 PM.
