DESCRIPTION:Sunday\, April 23rd 8:00am – 5:00pm \nFree event for intermediate to advanced female riders.\nWe need you to bring: Full Suspension Mountain Bike\, Helmet\, Shoes\, Water\, Snacks\nTicket sales are limited to 15 participants + 5 volunteers.\nWe will meet at Harper’s Bike Shop at 8am to make sure everyone’s bikes are ready to shred and to confirm that everyone knows how to get to the trailhead. \nAMBC Joy Ride wants to invite YOU to Paint Mountain. Join us for a FUN day in the backcountry on your mountain bike!  \nGrab a friend or make some new ones at this free event for intermediate to advanced female riders. This ride is intended to help women feel more comfortable on one of the best backcountry mountain bike routes in the region. No one gets left behind\, and everyone leaves with a big smile. Paint Mountain is rated as a black diamond route. There are no mandatory gaps or drops\, but this trail does require an intermediate rider skillset and comfortability with steep\, technical terrain. \nPaint Mountain is a BIG day on the bike. It’s got huge climbs and huge (RAD) descents! The ride will be 20 miles total with 3500ft of elevation. Get ready to earn your turns! Joy Ride leaders and sweeps will be there to assist you along the way. \nWe will meet at Harper’s Bike Shop at 8am to make sure everyone’s bikes are ready to shred and to confirm that everyone knows how to get to the trailhead. Harper’s Bike Shop will be providing limited carpool options\, so sign up early to snag your spot!  \nFrom there we will head to Hot Springs\, NC for an awesome day on single track! And for those that want to stick around for an aprés ride celebration\, we will wind our way down to Big Pillow Brewery for tacos. \nWe need you to bring: Full Suspension Mountain Bike\, Helmet\, Shoes\, Water\, Snacks \nThis event is free\, but please register by April 21st. This helps us ensure we have enough volunteers and supplies. DESCRIPTION:Sunday\, April 23rd 8:00am – 5:00pm \nFree event for intermediate to advanced female riders.\nTicket sales are limited to 15 participants + 5 volunteers.\nBring a Full Suspension Mountain Bike\, Helmet\, Shoes\, Water\, Snacks\nWe will meet at Harper’s Bike Shop at 8am to make sure everyone’s bikes are ready to shred and to confirm that everyone knows how to get to the trailhead. \nAMBC Joy Ride wants to invite YOU to Paint Mountain. Join us for a FUN day in the backcountry on your mountain bike!  \nGrab a friend or make some new ones at this free event for intermediate to advanced female riders. This ride is intended to help women feel more comfortable on one of the best backcountry mountain bike routes in the region. No one gets left behind\, and everyone leaves with a big smile. Paint Mountain is rated as a black diamond route. There are no mandatory gaps or drops\, but this trail does require an intermediate rider skillset and comfortability with steep\, technical terrain. \nPaint Mountain is a BIG day on the bike. It’s got huge climbs and huge (RAD) descents! The ride will be 20 miles total with 3500ft of elevation. Get ready to earn your turns! Joy Ride leaders and sweeps will be there to assist you along the way. \nWe will meet at Harper’s Bike Shop at 8am to make sure everyone’s bikes are ready to shred and to confirm that everyone knows how to get to the trailhead. Harper’s Bike Shop will be providing limited carpool options\, so sign up early to snag your spot!  \nFrom there we will head to Hot Springs\, NC for an awesome day on single track! And for those that want to stick around for an aprés ride celebration\, we will wind our way down to Big Pillow Brewery for tacos. \nWe need you to bring: Full Suspension Mountain Bike\, Helmet\, Shoes\, Water\, Snacks \nThis event is free\, but please register by April 21st. This helps us ensure we have enough volunteers and supplies. This event is for female\, female-identifying\, and non-binary riders. \nIMPORTANT DETAILS \n\nTicket sales are limited to 15 participants + 5 volunteers. \nPlease note: Hot Springs\, NC is one hour and thirty minutes away from Knoxville. \nAMBC Joy Ride will not be providing rides to Hot Springs\, NC\, but Harper’s Bike Shop is offering limited carpool options.\nAMBC Joy Ride & Harper’s Bike Shop will not be providing meals at Big Pillow Brewery\n\nRide Leaders & Ride Sweeps are needed! \nWe are looking for ride leaders and sweeps to help with the ride on Paint Mountain in a fun and safe manner.
