About AMBC’s Work Parties

WE DIG TRAILS! Join AMBC’s Trail Work Parties and be part of something bigger! These hands-on, community-driven events unite outdoor enthusiasts and environmental advocates to help maintain and improve Knoxville’s trails. Volunteers of all skill levels are welcome to pitch in—whether clearing brush, repairing erosion, or building new trail features. Our work parties are a great way to give back, meet fellow trail lovers, and make a lasting impact on the natural spaces that connect us. Together, we’ll keep these trails safe, sustainable, and enjoyable for everyone.

 

Volunteers are encouraged to bring:

• Water and snacks
• Work gloves and any personal tools, if specified for the event
• Sturdy, closed-toe shoes suitable for rough or muddy terrain
• Weather-appropriate clothing to stay comfortable in varying conditions

AMBC supplies most tools, but a little preparation can go a long way toward ensuring a smooth and enjoyable volunteer experience.
