The B Race is for first time cyclocross racers or those who approach racing with a casual demeanor. You’re here for fun and you know it. If you win, you’ll get to stand upon a podium and there may be cool prizes.
The A Race is for people who like to push it and for experienced cyclocross racers. A bike racers category. They’ll get to stand on a podium after each race and there will be a cash prize for the series winner.
The race is located in the lower half of Morning Side Park in Knoxville, TN. Park at the CITYSCAPE office/other stuff development at 900 E Hill Ave, Knoxville, TN 37915.”
Every New Year’s Day the Big South Fork National River & Recreation Area and the Big South Fork Bike Club invite all mountain bikers to ride the annual Big South Fork “Mail Run” event. Bikers meet at Bandy Creek Visitor Center at 10:00 AM (ET), January 1, and then hit the trails. The ride is traditionally called the Mail Run because the event occurs each year no matter what the weather has in store.
The Mail Run consists of a choice of rides varying anywhere from 8-35 miles so bikers can pick the group ride of a length they are most comfortable with. Hot chocolate and coffee will be available at Bandy Creek Visitor Center before the rides starts.
Join us for our annual Holiday Soirée! Hop on over to Suttree’s High Gravity Tavern on Sunday, December 14th from 7-9 pm for a fun night filled with lots of holiday cheer, gifts that support your favorite local organization (us), good food, and AMBC friends.
