Kids and youth from 2nd grade through high school are invited to join AMBC Trail Blazers, Appalachian Youth Cycling, and Little Bellas for a social mountain bike ride on Saturday, May 2nd at 12:30 pm during Outlandish Adventure Festival. Trail Blazers, AYC, and Little Bellas volunteers will lead groups on this fun ride for kids and youth of all skill levels. We’ll be back by 2 pm to watch the Highline Demo over the quarry!
Meet at the AMBC tent at Meads Quarry – arrive early and be ready to park and walk (it will be BUSY).
What to bring:
- Mountain bike or bike with knobby tires (1.75″+) and hand brakes (required!)
- Helmet
- Water (and a way to carry it on the ride)
- Closed-toe shoes (not Crocs)
- Rain jacket (as needed)

Get on the trails with other ladies at AMBC’s Joy Ride at Outlandish Adventure Festival and celebrate International Women’s MTB Day! Joy Ride creates a welcoming, non-intimidating environment for women and non-binary riders. We’ll split into groups based on experience and make sure everyone has a great time on the trails! Rides will be tailored for Beginner and Beginner Plus riders.
Meet at the Joy Ride tent at Meads Quarry at 9 am. Plan to get there early for parking – it will be busy!

Join AMBC’s Social Ride at Outlandish Adventure Festival for a fun, co-ed group mountain bike ride at Meads Quarry at 9 am on Saturday, May 2nd! Social Ride is a great way to connect with other mountain bikers and get comfortable on the trails. The ride will be around 1-1.5 hours so you can get back to watch the Whip Off at 11! Everyone is welcome, and no one gets left behind!

Join Climbing Roots on Wednesday, March 11 at 6pm for an all-levels mountain bike ride on green and blue trails at Baker Creek followed by a post-ride climb! Bring a bike & helmet. All riders get a half-priced day pass for climbing.
